Students will learn about French Impressionism and its impact in the United States by making a voicethread project that summarizes all the tasks below
The French Impressionism movement

2- When did it start?, Who did start it?, What techniques were used? What did the Impressionists paint? How the impressionists were received by people? Were they successful at the beginning? 1 to 2 paragraphs/ At least 5 pictures to illustrate
3- Your own artist 1 to 2 paragraphs/10 paintings at least with name of the paintings

4- Le théâtre de l'Absurde
Students will have a taste of the « théâtre de l’Absurde” by reading “Le Rhinocéros” by Eugène Ionesco and write a last absurd scene to conclude the play.
5- No Exit
Students will read "Huis Clos" by Eugène Ionesco in group and make a poster about the play where
a- each student will present his or her character.(1 or 2 paragraphs)
b- Students will write 1-2 paragraphs to present the play and its author "Jean-Paul Sartre" c- Students will decorate their poster.
6- Francophone Countries
Students will learn about francophone Countries and their traditions by realizing the project below: A francophone country will be assigned to each student.
